Overview
The BrightLink SDR-480-24 compatible DIN rail power supply delivers a robust 480W of regulated 24V DC power in a rugged metal enclosure designed for industrial environments. As a direct replacement for the Mean Well SDR-480-24, this high-capacity driver mounts on standard TS-35 DIN rails and provides clean, reliable power for demanding applications including industrial automation, server and network equipment, and large-scale LED lighting installations.
Featuring active power factor correction (PFC greater than 0.95), universal AC input from 90 to 264VAC, and efficiency up to 94%, this power supply minimizes energy waste while maximizing output capacity. The metal housing provides excellent heat dissipation and electromagnetic shielding, ensuring stable operation even in electrically noisy industrial environments.

Applications
The 480W output capacity of the SDR-480-24 compatible power supply makes it suitable for high-demand industrial and commercial applications. Typical use cases include industrial automation and PLC systems with multiple I/O modules, server room and data center auxiliary power, large-scale LED display and video wall power distribution, CNC machine control systems, conveyor and material handling system power, building management system (BMS) controllers, large LED strip installations in warehouses and commercial spaces, and telecommunications base station equipment.
Installation Notes
Mount the SDR-480-24 compatible unit on a standard TS-35 DIN rail using the integrated mounting clips. Due to the 480W output, ensure the input circuit is protected by an appropriately rated circuit breaker (minimum 10A for 240VAC input, 20A for 120VAC input). Use minimum 14 AWG wire for the AC input and minimum 12 AWG for the DC output to handle the 20A load safely. The DC OK relay contact can be connected to a PLC input or status indicator for remote monitoring. Maintain at least 20mm clearance on each side and 50mm above and below for proper ventilation. The metal housing acts as a heat sink – avoid covering or enclosing the unit in a way that restricts airflow. For parallel operation to increase capacity, consult the technical datasheet for proper load-sharing configuration.
