Mini 6mm Aluminum LED Profile — Ultra-Narrow 1-Meter Channel with Diffuser
At just 6mm wide, this miniature aluminum LED profile is the narrowest channel in the BrightLink lineup — purpose-built for applications where space is at a premium and the light source must disappear into the architecture. The anodized aluminum body doubles as a passive heatsink for high-power COB and dense-pitch SMD strips, while the frosted polycarbonate diffuser softens the light output into a smooth, dot-free line.
Design & Construction
- 6mm Internal Width — Accommodates LED strips with PCB widths from 4mm to 6mm. The snug fit prevents strip movement during installation and ensures optimal thermal contact between the strip PCB and the aluminum channel walls.
- Anodized Aluminum Body (6063-T5) — Provides excellent thermal conductivity (reducing LED junction temperature by up to 15C compared to direct mounting on wood or drywall), plus a premium satin finish that blends into modern interiors.
- Frosted PC Diffuser — The snap-on opal polycarbonate diffuser reduces LED dot visibility by over 90% while transmitting 85% of the light output. Available in clear and black diffuser variants for different aesthetic preferences.
- 1-Meter Standard Length — Easy to ship, handle, and cut to custom lengths with a standard hacksaw. Multiple 1M sections can be joined end-to-end using our optional profile connectors for longer runs.

Installation
Surface-mount using the included stainless steel clips (1 per 10cm) or apply 3M VHB tape to the profile base for direct adhesion to smooth surfaces. Cut the aluminum with a fine-tooth hacksaw or miter saw. Feed the LED strip into the channel before snapping on the diffuser. For power injection on long runs, drill a 3mm hole in the profile base at the injection point.
